Today there was three teams working on different job sites. Painting, Paneling and Drywall were our main tasks. One team painted the garage/apartment of Lisa Ladner, who is the leader of Camp Hope at which we are staying. Her home which is one block off of the Gulf, was flooded by six feet of water and is waiting to be bull dozed. One of the other jobs was for Miss Verla, who lives a couple of blocks off of the coast. Her home was flooded and there was some mold growing. We had to strip a couple of rooms and replace paneling and drywall. The third job site was flooded when the bayou flooded their neighborhood. We insulated and drywalled the entire house. Not even pictures can bring clarity of the magnitude of the destruction by Katrina. We ate dinner tonight at God's Katrina Kitchen which is a big tent that serves fifteen-hundred meals a day to volunteers. After seeing the thankfulness of these people's faces it is all the worth while. Tonight we had a time of worship and devotions.

All of you are such a blessing! It is so great to be able to see what you are doing down there. Your trip has been featured on the local television and radio news programs so all of Delmarva is praying for you and watching your progress. The people of Mississippi are being shown the love of Jesus through your actions. We continue to lift each of you up in prayer and anxiously await each posting. God bless you
